Mary K Cooke

I’m a freelance science writer based in London with a background in academic research.

Before I retrained as a science writer, I worked as a government influenza epidemiologist, a university researcher investigating influenza and tuberculosis testing and a charity science engagement officer.

I have an MSc in the Control of Infectious Diseases and a PhD in Medical Entomology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
